Advocacy cum Health Camp
Living Hope Ministry and Edenthar Branch YMA (Young Mizo Association) jointly organised Advocacy cum Health Camp on the August 21, 2010 at Edenthar Govt. Primary School. Mobile ICTC Team from Mizoram State AIDS Control Society and Living Hope Laboratory Unit enrich the event. There are about 500 people enrolled for Free Medical Check Up, but time permits only 353 patient to have checked. Free Medicines are also distributed to most of the patients. These Free Medicines (Physician Sample) was donated by numerous Doctors in and around Civil Hospitals, and the NGO is so grateful to these Doctors.
Apart form the Living Hope Staff Nurse and Doctor, there are three more Doctors and Nurses from outside who joints this Health Camp. The presence of Dr. Thiamsanga, Senior Gynecologist from Civil Hospital needs special mention. They all work very hard and Living Hope really appreciates their commitment and spare time for this Camp and makes the event a grand success.
The organising team works very hard. In all the counter committed youths volunteered themselves and enrolled the patients and welcomed them warmly. Local Cable TV Network covers this event and highlited in the evening News Item.

Counselling Training
Living Hope Ministry conducted two day counselling training on April 9-10, 2010 at Vaivakawn Presbyterian Church General Committee Room. In this Counselling training participants are came from six different localities where Living Hope Ministry have Targeted Intervention. The participants are Stakeholders of the Ministry like YMA leaders, MHIP leaders and Church leaders.
Dr. C. Lalhrekima, Psychiatrist Civil Hospital Aizawl, Dr. R.L. Sanghluna, HIV/AIDS Specialist, Presbyterian Hospital Durtlang and Mr. R. Lalmalsawma, Senior Counsellor Gospel Thunder Team are the resource persons. During these two days training participants gain and learn a lot of things from the resource persons.
